Being on YouTube since 2014, I went through different types of content as a vlogger. In 2020, I decided to create an account for myself that would help me practice my editing skills on a personal level. I named the account “La Morisienne Production”.

On it, my main concept is to keep it local, by using the Mauritian Creole language in my videos and by sharing content about Mauritius.

With four public playlists on the channel, I invite the viewers to follow my adventures:

1. Short Films

Videos that are edited in a cinematic way, with random themes.

2. Anou Voyazer

Videos of my trips in iconic places in Mauritius and Rodrigues Island.

3. Mauritian Skits.

Comedy-themed videos about Mauritian life where they are depicted in 5 ways for each video.

4. La Morisienne a L’ile Rodrigues

My adventure when I went to Rodrigues for a month.

Though at first the main goal of this channel was to help me ameliorate the way I edit videos and to define my style as a content creator, I now also use it to share my love for my country online for people to see. It is a platform I use to connect with Mauritians on the island and elsewhere on the globe.

Thanks to it, I “met” a lot of nice people and fellow young YouTubers out there.
